长歌行

要衣须破束，欲炙须解牛。
When clothing is needed, we must tear the fabric; when roasting, the animal must be slaughtered.

当年不快意，徒为他人留。
In the past, my unhappiness resulted in leaving things behind for others.

百岁之约何悠悠，华发星星稀满头。
The hundred-year promise feels so distant, my hair is now filled with gray.

峨眉螓首聊我仇，圆红阙白令人愁。
The elegant peaks of Emei Mountain bring me thoughts of revenge, the round red sunsets leave me feeling sorrowful.

何不夕引清奏，朝登翠楼，逢花便折，闻胜即游？
Why not play a clean tune in the evening and climb the emerald tower in the morning? When encountering flowers, I'll pluck them; when hearing of beauty, I'll travel there.

鼓腕腾棍晴雷收，舞腰困褭垂杨柔。
With drumming and dancing, the clear thunder recedes. My waist sways gracefully, like a willow branch.

象箸击折歌勿休，玉山未到非风流。
Playing the zither, I will keep singing ceaselessly. Before reaching the Jade Mountain, I will not consider myself accomplished.

眼前有物俱是梦，莫将身作黄金仇。
Everything before me is but a dream, do not make your body an enemy of gold.

死生同域不用惧，富贵在天何足忧！
Do not fear death and life, they share the same realm. Wealth and fortune in heaven are beyond concern.

yào yī xū pò shù, yù zhì xū jiě niú.

dāng nián bù kuài yì, tú wèi tā rén liú.

bǎi suì zhī yuē hé yōu yōu, huá fà xīng xīng xī mǎn tóu.

é méi qín shǒu liáo wǒ chóu,
峨眉螓首聊我仇，
yuán hóng quē bái lìng rén chóu.
圆红阙白令人愁。
hé bù xī yǐn qīng zòu, cháo dēng cuì lóu, féng huā biàn zhé,
何不夕引清奏，朝登翠楼，逢花便折，
wén shèng jí yóu? gǔ wàn téng gùn qíng léi shōu, wǔ yāo kùn niǎo chuí yáng róu.
闻胜即游？鼓腕腾棍晴雷收，舞腰困褭垂杨柔。
xiàng zhù jī zhé gē wù xiū, yù shān wèi dào fēi fēng liú.
象箸击折歌勿休，玉山未到非风流。
yǎn qián yǒu wù jù shì mèng,
眼前有物俱是梦，
mò jiāng shēn zuò huáng jīn chóu.
莫将身作黄金仇。
sǐ shēng tóng yù bù yòng jù, fù guì zài tiān hé zú yōu!
